When you become mature enough to realise which of your shortcomings is passed on to you by which of your elders, you have to choices: Either you remain as you are, with all your shortcomings, and keep blaming your elders all your life; or you overcome your shortcomings and absolve your elders of their mistakes of passing on the wrong character-traits to you.
